Looks like mirror shards, doesn't it? If it looks like glass that's because it is... That's glass "sugar" often used for making miniatures.

I decided to stick it to my nails. Yes, it is a little sharp. This isn't really for casual wearing.

The silvery stuff stuck to my hand here is silver metal leaf. I had some bits and pieces left over from another project.

It's probably the foil that I'm seeing with the metallic look but I've been looking for a metallic looking silver nail polish. I want that high shine that I've seen in pictures but never can seem to find a color to match it. Anddd What website do you order supplies from. I've found a few but I was scared they weren't legit. Also These are uber cool!!! Totally not for everyday wear but they are incredible!!

What you want is a silver foil nail polish. The one I used under the glass is Essie No Place Like Chrome. It's pretty good, it has a nice metallic finish. There are a lot of brands that make them now. They won't give you a true mirror finish but it's as close as you can really get with a polish.

If you want a true mirror finish you'll need to get foil apps like these. [link] You can also get false acrylics that come pre-painted with a mirror-like finish.

I tend to just buy my polishes in person but I shop Amazon too. All the other little bits and pieces are just from here and there, mostly art supply stores or Etsy. ^____^

I imagine it could sting at times. Suffering for art, no?

No injuries to speak of! ^_____^

Mostly it was just a bit gritty. Only a little sharp.
